Bong Arquiza is a strategic communications leader and the founder of Kilig Creatives, bringing more than a decade of experience in public relations, integrated communications, and large-scale event strategy. He currently serves as Director of Communications for a billion-dollar healthcare nonprofit, where he leads communications initiatives across the Greater New York area, overseeing media relations, brand storytelling, executive visibility, and mission-driven campaigns that advance community health and social impact.
Bong has extensive experience producing and elevating high-profile events, from nonprofit galas and leadership summits to corporate activations and community initiatives. Through his work, he has helped shape the narrative and public presence of major fundraising events, leadership campaigns, and public engagement programs that bring together business leaders, media, policymakers, and community stakeholders. His ability to translate complex ideas into compelling stories and experiences has made him a trusted communications partner for organizations ranging from startups to multinational corporations.
Through Kilig Creatives, Bong advises clients on brand strategy, communications planning, and experiential storytelling, helping organizations connect meaningfully with their audiences. His work spans collaborations with household brands, nonprofit institutions, public sector partners, and international organizations.
Originally from the Philippines, Bong brings a global perspective to his work and is a strong advocate for diversity, inclusion, and purpose-driven communications. He holds a Master’s degree in Branding and Integrated Communications (Public Relations) from the City University of New York and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of the Philippines.
Outside of work, Bong enjoys traveling, documenting experiences through writing, and exploring the intersection of culture, food, and storytelling.
Janina Gesmundo, CPA is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in New York and a senior manager at a Filipino-owned boutique professional services firm in Queens. With extensive experience advising nonprofit organizations and government agencies, she brings a strong foundation in financial management, organizational strategy, and operational oversight.
Beyond her professional work in accounting, Janina has developed a reputation for her ability to plan and execute thoughtfully curated events, ranging from team-building conferences to large-scale annual celebrations. Known for her meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills, she combines logistical precision with creative vision to deliver memorable and well-coordinated experiences.
Janina’s passion for event planning began during her time at the University of the Philippines Diliman, where she played an active role in organizing major campus events, including the University Job Fair and large community food bazaars. Today, she continues to bring that same energy and creativity to her work with Kilig Creatives, where her unique blend of financial expertise and event planning experience contributes to the success of meaningful gatherings and community-centered initiatives.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accountancy from the University of the Philippines Diliman.
